The Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, Executive Institute (ILETSB-EI) hosts a comprehensive police executive development program multiple times a year. The 100-hour course, Police Executive Role in the 21st Century, consists of three weeks of classroom modules. Secure 1776 founder Thomas Lemmer is again among the leaders tapped to provide instruction. Lemmer will be presenting all day on Wednesday, 29 March 2023 at the Peoria Police Department. Lemmer will be covering the core issues of accountability, supervisory engagement, leadership, and police policy.

Illinois police executives and senior police supervisors interested in one-day access to this training should contact Barend Wurth from the ILETSB-EI. Those interested should reach out no later than tomorrow, 27 March 2023. Wurth can also provide guidance on when registration will next be open for the full program.
Since 2020, Lemmer has had an ongoing collaboration with the ILETSB-EI. Lemmer commented: “It is always such an honor to present in partnership with the Executive Institute.”
This training opportunity comes following multiple training sessions conducted by Lemmer earlier this month. In Chicago, St.Louis, and Arizona. Lemmer has continued to build the skills and morale of frontline police personnel, training staff, supervisors, and command personnel.
